Innovation and accredited security design are hallmarks of Tower Security, protecting generations of homeowners and businesses with quality security doors, screens, and windows since 1991.
Foreseeing the benefits of the Wangara location, the company established their Paramount Drive premises when there was little development east of Hartman Drive. Service Administrator Dot Blee said it was clearly a good decision by the company, with more than one business in their same industry following their lead and relocating to Wangara over the years.
“We’re spoilt for choice for industrial areas in the City of Wanneroo. Our Wangara location provides a sound base for our manufacturing as well as forming quality relationships with local business and clients, along with the convenient access to arterial roads,” said Dot.
“And our experiences with the City of Wanneroo have been excellent. Support programs and resources have been well published and easily accessible, tendering information has been easy to access, and we’ve received prompt responses to all our enquiries,” she said.
“We’ve also engaged with the Wanneroo Business Association and Edith Cowan University; our clients include private homes, businesses, residential estates, builders, care facilities, education facilities, sporting facilities, and local and state government properties; and we’re proud to support local not-for-profit groups. We’ve found plenty of opportunities being co-located next to suppliers and customers that we might not have otherwise had.
One of the pioneers of the security sector for the region, Tower Security’s innovations include developing and patenting a system to improve security to the rear of sliding doors. Their system was awarded the Australian Design Mark (now known as the Good Design Award), adding to their credence as a licensed security company under Western Australia’s Security and Related Activities Act and Regulations.
Members and approved installers of the Security Screen Association and licenced by WA Police, customers are assured Tower Security adheres to the standards and ethics set out by the Security and Related Activities Act and Regulations.
“In the security industry with new products advancing the sector, it’s important for us to keep up with developments and plan for change and growth,” said Dot.
“While we enjoy being in Wangara, we do note with great interest the recent developments in the Neerabup industrial area. The recently announced Australian Automation and Robotics Precinct will undoubtedly mean opportunities for businesses in the north of the City. As the upgrades and access to major roads are already in works, Neerabup would be another clever option to get in on the ground floor and establish a presence,” she said.
As for the future of Tower Security, Dot says they will build on the strategic partnerships and joint ventures they’ve established and continue to offer local employment opportunities, while maintaining their focus on quality products and service for customers.
